About Me
I was born in Istanbul, Turkey. In high school, I developed a passion for flight simulation, which led me to teach aviation courses and write a flight simulation textbook in collage. Later, I discovered my interest in psychology and pursued a degree at Middle East Technical University. Afterwards, I moved to The Netherlands. I completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Leiden University, where I combined research and clinical practice. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in epidemiology at Erasmus MC, where I conduct studies on migraine. Throughout my career, I have taught courses in psychology and science communication, and co-founded multiple science communication initiatives aimed at bridging the gap between academia and society.

Psychotherapy
As a psychotherapist, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based therapy to individuals seeking support for their mental well-being. I received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Schema Therapy. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns.
My approach to therapy is grounded in a client-centered perspective, tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. I work collaboratively with clients to develop insights, build resilience, and empower them to make positive changes in their lives. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or other challenges, I am here to support you on your journey towards healing and personal growth.
